Thanks for a wonderful design! This mute is going to replace all of my bucket mutes. It's so easy to play! The sound is warm like a bucket, but retains some natural color that gets lost with other buckets. The newly designed clips make it a breeze to attach and remove, and the lightweight design makes it feel seemless. A natural extension of my horn. Well Done!

One of the many subjects I cover with private trumpet students and in masterclasses and clinics is using the right mute for a particular playing situation. This subject is often ignored. I am very particular about my equipment and have an extensive collection of mutes from many eras. I have been using the new Soulo Mute in the recording studio and on live performance situations for over a year now. It makes a wonderful addition to my mute arsenal. I'm totally diggin the mute! I've used it in the pit and also used it on a solo on the TV show King of the Hill. They wanted a distant covered sound. It worked great! I've been using it as a bucket mute as well. Thanks again for the great mute!

I never liked bucket mutes --- too heavy, difficult to put on, out of tune, bad sound. But your mute works great. Nice tone, light weight, east to install and remove. Thank you so much and congrats!

In the past I tried out several kinds of mutes to get a special sound for Jazz and contemporary music. The new Soulo Mute is wonderful, the sound is smooth, dark and indirect in a positive manner. The pitch is perfect and it works great on my Rotary trumpet too. I love its sound, it seems to me to be a real "must-have" mute for every professional trumpet player. Sound and intonation are really perfect. I love especially the sound on the rotary trumpet, I highly recommend it and I hope many trumpet players get in touch with this wonderful mute! I like this mute very much! It makes a lovely sound in all registers and I very much enjoy the clip mechanism that attaches it to the bell of the trumpet!

Mike, got the mute today - love it - in tune and great sound - I will get great use of this for quieter sounding gigs and sessions plus on the old style 30's and 40's jobs I play.

Hey Mike, I'm in China and facebook-less, but I completely forgot to tell you that I brought your Soulo Mute on this tour and it's been great for quick mute changes - I considered removing the metal pieces but didn't want to trash it, but I literally hold it in place and it works if I adjust the clip on mic just right!

A big thanks to Mike Jarosz for sending me his new Soulo mute. It has a big warm sound which adds beautiful colors to anything from a slow ballad to burning bebop. The mute has an easy free blowing feel and the intonation is right on. Congrats dude! This is exactly what I've been looking for.
