Soulo Mute weighs just 2.2 ounces (62 grams) - less than half the weight of some other mutes. Here are a few other mute weights for you to compare.

Hardly any! This is a contributing factor to the mute being so fun to play. It was specifically designed to allow just the right amount of air to pass through, giving it a great sound, but also feeling like you're playing without anything attached to the bell.
Soulo Mute is $68. Domestic Shipping is $5.65 via USPS priority. Express options are available upon checkout. NJ residents are taxed 7%. International shipping is $19 for Economy (2-4 weeks) and $29 for Priority (3-5 days).
While it was not designed as one, it certainly can be used as a practice mute. It does not attempt to silence sound as much as a typical practice mute, although it does take the edge off, especially when played in the closed position. It is much easier to play than a standard practice mute.
Some of our customers have been using it as a bucket, cup and some instances a practice mute. It has been used by jazz, commerical and classical trumpet players. For example, some have been using it during the muted section of the Artunian.

Sorry, it won't. Soulo mute is designed to fit bells from 4.5" - 5.25". However, if you have a larger bell, we can custom make you one, there is a $25 customization fee. Please click here to contact us directly.
